Emmanuel is a very close and dear friend of mine, and also a partner in my musical path for the last million years. Emmanuel and I were part of the show Hayuta, and we still play and sing regularly in his French Songs Show.
Melodies come to Emmanuel quite easily. All he needs is the right text, his guitar, and soon enough a delicious tune emerges.
During the year 2005 we met in my place to document and record some of the songs. I started playing with arrangements with some of them, some others remain with just Emmanuel's guitar. Eventually the songs were left in their sketch form, and were never published. I'm very happy to share these songs with you.
