Magna Harta, a paraphrase of the historical Magna Carta scripts (Harta in Hebrew slang: nonsense, garbage, low quality), is Yehoshua Sobol's satire about embarrassed people in embarrassing situations. People who seek stolen love, stolen fame and stolen cars. Sobol's interpretation of today's life in Israel is depicted in short and stressful encounters, as well as cynical songs: an evening of songs and sketches, created for the new Herzelia Ensemble Theater to celebrate the theatre's opening.
